Community Engagement Grant Program

Our Grassroots Engagement Program is ready to empower community groups to provide climate action and sustainability education to underserved and front-line San Antonio communities.

Neighborhood and Community Grants

Neighborhood and Community Grant Program

The Neighborhood and Community Grants can help launch or continue existing community sustainability projects. Successful projects will further SA Climate Ready goals, build community partnerships, leverage local and federal funding, and/or meaningfully involve underserved communities, diverse groups, or vulnerable populations. 

We would like to congratulate all of the awardees of the 2024 Neighborhood and Community Grant Program. 

Business Grants

Business Grant Program

The Business Grant Program aims to inspire projects that enhance community sustainability efforts and foster resilience that create a more sustainable and resilient San Antonio. 

Annual funding of the grant is not guaranteed and is subject to availability. Grant applications are accepted once per year during the application period and reviewed by the Office of Sustainability Scoring Committee.

Business Grants can help launch or continue existing community sustainability projects. Successful projects will further SA Climate Ready goals, reduce building and/or transportation energy consumption, leverage local and federal funding, and/or create community partnerships.

Local businesses whose projects are within San Antonio city limits are eligible for awards up to $20,000.
