City Bond Program
Investing in a Safer, Stronger City
Resilient infrastructure means residents have reliable access to daily essentials like power, water, internet access, safe roads, and buildings. For city governments, having resilient infrastructure protects the public’s welfare and reduces the soaring costs of disaster recovery that cause economic disruptions.
Our community is growing, and our climate is changing. Supported by the City Manager, we are working to ensure that our infrastructure meets the needs of our community and can withstand climate impacts. We are doing so by prioritizing resilience through this bond to make sure we are building better for tomorrow through innovate ways that integrate gray and green infrastructure. In turn, these efforts will produce savings, preserve San Antonio’s natural environment, and improve quality of life throughout our City.
San Antonio’s 2022–2027 Bond Program is a voter-approved, $1.2 billion investment in 183 projects that improve streets, drainage systems, parks, and public facilities across the city.
